DIP Co has earned the USDA Certified Biobased Product Label for its line of Drip Trays. The USDA Certified Biobased Product Label verifies that the products amount of renewable biobased ingredients meets or exceeds levels set by USDA. Biobased products are finished or intermediate materials composed in whole or in a significant part of agricultural, forestry, or marine ingredients.

All biobased amount claims are verified by independent labs and monitored by the USDA. This process ensures the number of biobased ingredients meets or exceeds levels set by the USDA. DIPCo drip trays resulted in an 83% biobased content level.

DIP Company’s drip trays are manufactured from recycled USDA milk carton paperboard stock and are designed to contain accidental ink drips and spills in and around ink stations on flexographic printing presses. “On the eve of our 35 anniversary we’re proud to have earned this certification”, said Theron Johnson, President of DIP Co. “The USDA BioPreferred label illustrates our commitment to environmental stewardship while providing a line of products that not only benefit and enhance our customers’ operations but are also 100% recyclable.”
