DIP Co expands Quick-Change offerings for Omet XFlex line
Two new quick-change disposable ink liner systems are now available for Omet’s XFlex X5 line. Press models benefiting from the new systems include the 370 (14.5669”) and 440 (17.32”).
Major elements of DIP Co’s XFlex X4 ink liner design were integrated into the new model resulting in the creation of a single system. This system can be utilized on all X4 and X5 models which allow for the standardization of consumables across platforms.
As with all quick-change offerings, the following features are incorporated into the construction of the X5 system
- Dual-coated, USDA certified paperboard supports water-based, UV, and solvent-based inks and varnishes
- Machine formed stainless steel retainers for rigid in-press support
- Waffle-patterned, sonic welded drain spouts
- Pre-scored, folded, and stapled liners for maximum at-press time savings
