Our 35th anniversary here at DIP Co is now in the books!  Take a few minutes and allow us the opportunity to tell you about some of the awesome things we’ve accomplished over the past year.  Enjoy!

A record 25 custom projects completed Great, time-saving ideas from talented press operators are what make printing companies thrive.  Here at DIP, we’re especially happy to be able to bring those ideas to life.  From narrow web to wide, offset, gravure, coating, and laminating, we helped make printing more productive.  Do you have an idea to make your press process more efficient?  Click here; let’s hear about it!

Partners in time (savings!)  DIP Co and Tresu collaborated to create not one, but two, of the largest disposable wide web flexo drip trays on the market today.  Read how a customer-driven idea is shrinking downtime for one Fortune 500 printer.  (Spoiler Alert:  that large tray comes in at 70″ x 10,” but we can manufacture up to 127″ x 89″!)

Environmental Stewardship Continues  Did you know all DIP Co paperboard drip trays are USDA Certified Bio based product?  What does that mean?  It means we care enough about our planet to use renewable plant-based materials in our tray construction instead of petroleum-derived materials.  What’s more, we recycled over 168,000 pounds of waste from the manufacturing of our ink liners and drip trays last year.

Dipping got easier  Offset printing dates back to the mid-1800s, but efficient ink fountain cleaning has only taken off within the past year.  Thanks to a novel concept by a former offset press operator, cleaning fountains has never been so fast.

We joined the Gravure Association of America   The GAA promotes the gravure printing process for many printing industry segments.  They (we!) also share best practices, technical advice, and more, to encourage this printing process.  We’re excited to be a part of such a well-respected organization.  What other organizations are we a member?  Find out here.  PS: We design & manufacture products for gravure also!

Performance in not cleaning  Ink liners for the Mark Andy Performance-Series model took over the top spot as the #1 most used Quick Change system in North America.  And why not?  Everyone knows “Upgrading” to Teflon-coated pans means you over-spent on a pan you still have to clean.  New to the Performance press?  Check out what we have to offer to help you go wash-free.

You win!  Our production team hand-assembled over 1.254 million disposable ink liners during our  35th anniversary year.  That comes out to customers saving a collective 204,233  hours of downtime.  As a bonus, they also saved over 6.2 million gallons of water.  The fish thank you!
